4:47pm: I finally got a 100% on something in Mrs. Blomker's Class. Today was a very good day. Only one problem..we actually have to read every poem we have written this year in front of the class on Friday. My lack of public speaking skills should make the experience very interesting.

8:34pm: Mrs. Black died last night. I never had her as a teacher but people have said wonderful things about her. I rarely ever saw her in the hallways, but when I did, she was always smiling. Well, I hope she made it to the heaven she so firmly believed in.

Rest in peace Mrs. Black.

To top my shitty day off, a soldier from Iraq came in today to talk to us during world civ. He bragged about tagging prisoners, setting up the pow camps and pointing guns at innocent Iraqis.

hello. this is kayla. hogwartsxwitch seeing that Grace is INCAPABLE of updating her own journal, i am busting in here doing it for her. well, actually she asked me to do it. we are in the library "working" on our French City Projects. how wonderful. it just makes my day. grace is sitting next to me looking up stuff for her persuasive paper. i think its on divorce. and how its better for kids. but i would like to disagree on that matter. divorce may be better for other situations, but its definately hard on the kids. i think its kinda funny how im disagreeing with Grace in her own journal. bwa haha take that! i really just want to bust out my Dell MP3 player and just start listenin to it. coz that would be absolutely fab. i have a bible quiz next period that i havent studied for. i havent heard anything about it-like if it is hard, or if it is easy or in the middle. so yeah.. anyways. today hasnt been too bad. nothing too exciting has happened. im really ready to get out of school and GO HOME. but apparently i have to make up a chemistry test and maybe a world civ test after school. and apparently Grace fails in the area of telling me if we have bible homework or not because APPARENTLY HER PAPER COMES FIRST, INSTEAD OF INFORMING ME!!!! *pokes Grace* bwa haha game over. i win.

1st March is Self Injury Awareness Day.

SIAD is a global awareness day, and yet it is not supported by any nations' governments, because it is a grass-roots idea. Somehow, in the mists of time, the date was set as the 1st of March, and organisations around the world make extra efforts to raise awareness ready for SIAD.

The colour for some reason is orange. Some people wear an orange ribbon, but in the past SIAD bracelets have been worn:

- Orange beads if you self harm;
- Orange and white if you used to;
- White if you have never self harmed but understand.

4:42pm: today was...crazy.

Geometry- Frantically wrote my world civ. paper..it's horrible but honestly, I don't care. I forgot to do my geometry homework over the weekend..so I will have to turn it in late. I could have worked on it in class, but my world civ. paper was much more important.

Break- Frantically typed my world civ. paper in the computer lab..had two minutes to run to class.

World Civ.- I was tardy, but she wasn't in the room so I didn't get introuble. I turned in my paper and took her impossible open book test.

Chemistry- I didn't do my homework so I was again rushing to get another school assignment completed. Thank god for Ms. Evans lack of organization..it gave me enough time to finish my homework. She never teaches us anything in that class so my lab table attempted to teach ourselves the information we needed to know for our homework. I also had to listen to the people in my class bitch about KFC protesters..and how "god" put animals on the earth to eat. I wanted to shoot myself.

Bible- oh my god..so so boring. We took a super easy quiz and then he gave us another stupid bible study to do. ugh.

Computer- HTML lesson.

11:37pm: well..my poem is complete. It's a bit provocative and I'm not sure if I want to share it with the entire live journal community. If you want to read it..either leave a comment or IM me and I will send it to you!

I wrote it in about 10 minutes. I have never completed a poem so quickly. My current emotional state probably should be credited for that accomplishment. I find writing easier when I'm sad or feel pressured. The words just seem to flow from my mind to the paper.

I feel completely relieved. I do not care if he doesn't like me. Life always moves on.

9:31pm: today was pretty exciting...

I worked for most of the day, but even work was fun. The store was really busy, so I never got bored. Then after work, I went to go see Spanglish. It was really good..(cried like 3 different times though..haha) After the movie my mom picked me up and we ate at Yangkee Noodle..God, I LOVE that place. The super sexy guy was even working behind the counter..which made the expierence 1,000 times better! Then..I went shopping...so yea..today was pretty awesome!

except for a bit of depressing news I received when I got online..but we won't dwell on that issue. But just for a bit of insight..you can read the tiny message below.

ahh yes..I finally got started on my poem! I may even post it on here when I'm finished.

9:07pm: Well finals haven't been bad so far. The only downer this week was the way I was treated during quick recall practice.

story time..
I do not answer many questions during practice or at games..but I make people laugh so I haven't been kicked off the team.
Well..this girl(Madeleine)randomly decides to join our team and has some unexplained grudge against me. She isn't exactly one of the coolest people on earth..but I have ALWAYS been nice to her. So at practice she announces that she does not think I deserve to be on the team. I ask her why and all she can say is.."Grace, girls like you don't play quick recall." Then she proceeds to take a vote and asks who would like me to stay on the team..yes..she was the only one not raising her hand. Maybe next time she will keep her mouth shut.

Well, I must get back to studying.

12:09pm: well..this week wasn't the greatest, but it's over now and it's time to move on. I am so glad that Christmas break is coming soon..only one more week left! I refuse to let myself get stressed out this week. I am going to let what happens..happen. Finals are going to be difficult, but if I study enough, I'm sure I will do fine. I'm also excited about Winter Ball. Last year it was tons of fun and I think this year will be too. I still don't know who I am going to ask..but I need to figure it out by Tuesday (ticket purchase deadline).

I finally finished my romantic poem for english class. It took me forever, but it was good. I'm trying to start another poem but ive hit a major writers block. I want it to have depth and meaning. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
